All of you know you can upload video, image, photo, music and PowerPoint to VCASMO, so technically speaking, what file format is supported in VCASMO?

Here is the answer:

Video
*.avi, MPEG (*.mpg, *.mpeg), *.mp4(H.264/AAC), divx (*.mkv), xvid, QuickTime (*.mov, *.m4v), Window Media 7,8,9 (*.wmv), Real (*.rm, *.rmvb), WebM (*.webm), Mobile video(*.3gp,*.3g2), Flash video (*.flv, *.f4v): Sorenson Spark (Flash 7 or before) / On2 VP6 (Flash 8)

After 11 March, 2012
Server will convert video to MP4 format with resolution 640 X 480 pixel (4:3) but keep aspect ratio (if the video is not 4:3, mean it will convert as maximum width 640 and maximum height 480), variable bitrate(VBR), average bitrate around 700kbps, H.264 video codec, AAC audio codec. Therefore, when you upload the video file, you can encode as this resolution for smaller file size, faster upload and conversion.

Before 11 March, 2012
Server will convert video to Flash Video (*.flv) format with resolution 432 x 320 pixel (4:3), bitrate: 800kbps, On2 VP6 video codec, 44.1KHz MP3 audio codec. Therefore, when you upload the video file, you can encode as this resolution for smaller file size, faster upload and conversion. The best format supported in VCASMO is Flash Video (*.flv) format.
